Everyone helped make this experience more than acceptable - politeness and courtesy abounded. We even met the engineer/ mechanic . However we thought the price to be on the wrong side of reasonable . (We did accept the price before work commenced)

My experience at Sytner was excellent, a complete contrast to the dreadful aftersales service at the Bury St Edmunds dealership from whom I purcahsed my car. Oliver at Sytner could not have been more helpful or courteous, I'll be back!

The part that failed (charge flap) is a known issue and the car is 5 months out of warranty... I'd hoped that the part could have been covered by goodwill, but I had to pay for it. There's a design fault with this part - no emergency release!

Did have a problem with my car after they had dealt with the recall about 10 miles after we drove the car away and unfortunately they were closed but once ide spoken to Oliver Nash the next morning, he arranged the car to be back in and fixed.

This is difficult to rate as the staff at Sytner Stevenage are really helpful and I don't think this was their fault. However I do feel that MINI generally should offer some sort of recompense if the fault lies with the computer. Ollie was great.

I was told it would be better to drop my car the evening before so the gearbox was cold, and they could start early otherwise they would need it all day. I took the car the day before and at 2.30 they hadn't even started it.

The only gripe I have is, I was only advised after the service had been completed of a "recommended" repair. I would have preferred to have been given the opportunity for it to be repaired as part of the service, even if I had to wait & pay extra.
